What were you doing when you were just 10 years old? Playing sand outside your house? Playing hide and seek with friends in your neighbourhood?
Well, this Pakistan 10-year-old girl, name Arfa Karim Randhawa, passed her Microsoft Certified Professional examinations last year. Hence, she has become the youngest person to be certified as a Microsoft engineer. Oh my goodness, I don’t even have a MCSE cert with me. :D
Anyway, she met Bill Gates this week and was taken on a tour of Microsoft’s Redmond campus. Oh man, I have not had any chance to meet my idol too !! During this tour, she asked Gates why children were not allowed to work for Microsoft and was told later that they should concentrate on their school studies. See, even Bill Gates asked her to go get a life !! Children should play other things than passing Microsoft Certified Professional exam, ok !! LoL :))
By the way, Randhawa is now a Microsoft Certified Application Developer but plans to become a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer in the future, which involves building programs into broader systems for business. HmmMMm… another slave to a successful businessman. :D
