Come take a glance on a few screen shots of the next version of Windows – Windows Vista.
.) A redesigned Start Menu in Windows Vista, which allows users to type the name of the application they wish to open. This feature will definitely save some of my time because I have more than 30 applications installed. :D
.) The Pictures and Video folder in Windows Vista contains new information about a picture. Information such as the type of camera used and a user-assigned rating will be shown.
.) The Virtual Folders feature in Windows Vista allows users to view documents that share a specific criterion, such as “edited in the last week” or “containing the word ‘budget.’” This is like categorizing files based on some specific queries.
.) Improved version of desktop search abilities in Windows Vista. The search function shows different files types in categories.
