Google has been giving so many free services as their core business strategy, that's why somehow I think it is possible they will offer it free. However, I do agree with you, maybe only limited features will be offered free, just like the Google Earth service.

I don’t think it’s possible for Google to offer the service free. Even if they are offering, only very limited service will be offered.

I had the same feeling. I suspect the tracking mechanism goes to when we are using Google Web Accelerator and Google Secure Access as well. However, they clearly stated in the Terms Of Service that they will not use any private data when we are using the mentioned services. :-?

Notice something? Google is trying to track people. The Urchin information is probably kept a secret, and the general public cannot access it.

I wonder why. The moment I discovered Urchin was owned by Google, I stopped using it. Damn! It had such nice graphs and all….
