Corsair Flash Voyager is the latest product manufactured by Corsair and it’s the largest capacity USB 2.0 flash drive to date with a massive 32GB of storage. While Moore’s law is suggesting memory capacity would double its size approximately every 2 years, I think this 32GB flash drive is a bit beyond the projection, don’t you think so?

Anyway, obviously this USB flash drive is not a prototype but an end product selling on the shelves in many online computer stores right now, below are some sales I found :-

Corsair is well known of its high quality and performance computer main memory (RAM), therefore they are confident with Corsair Flash Voyager by offering a 10 years limited warranty. Even though the durable rubber casing doesn’t make it one stylish flash drive, I suppose the capacity, reliability and its warranty are enough win our hearts.

Anyway, with such a huge capacity, you can practically store the entire Windows Vista operating system, all application programs, and a couples of DVD into it! Moving huge files from one PC to another PC outside a network and harddisk backup would never been easier using it too.

Well, the world’s first platinum Apple iPod Nano is soon to be launched by the UK’s Goldstriker. Unlike the conventional casing, the platinum plated iPod Nano uses the most precious metal and it sure look more glamorous and style.

Goldstriker have already received many requests and orders even before the official release of platinum iPod Nano 8GB in January 2008. Goldstriker will sell the unit at £399.95 each, which is equivalent to about US$825.

Well, now I’m expecting such problem will not occur again after this official news from Gmail blog. At the moment, Gmail storage is ever increasing as part of their “Infinity+1” storage plan. Now Gmail is going to speed up the counter and giving out more free storage as time passes by. In other words, it simply means you’ll be rewarded with more and more storage space in every second, every minute and everyday!

Hopefully, your Gmail account will not run out of space unless your rate of using the email storage is faster than the rate of Gmail increase their storage space.

There is only 250 megabytes of storage allocated for each account, or space to keep over 1,000 Office documents. The system requirement for Microsoft Office Live Workspace is as the following :-

• Internet Explorer 6.0 or later on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista
• Firefox 2.0 on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Vista
• Firefox 2.0 on Mac OS X 10.2.x and later

No information on how it will run in a Unix system though.

Microsoft Office Live Workspace is an extended piece of Microsoft Office, so users can easily connect to Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook on their PC via the Internet.

If you want to be one of the beta testers, just sign up the pre-registration list then Microsoft will invite you in later.

Anyways, to me there are more companies converting desktop applications to Internet based as the online community is growing rapidly. It’s a phenomenon that I’m glad to see. All hail the power of Internet!

2 years ago, I wished them Happy Birthday on September 9^th 2005, which was 2 days late from their actual birth date on September 7^th that time of year.

Somehow this year the celebration of Google birthday is delayed until the end of September. So, now I am confused which date is their actual birthday.

The exact date when we celebrate our birthday has moved around over the years, depending on when people feel like having cake.

Let’s meet Foxkeh, the mascot of Mozilla Japan! This little fox was named Foxkeh after FIREFOX and SUKE, the suffix of common boy’s name in Japan.

It was created a Mozilla Japan staff for Firefox promotion in Japan but it is not a mascot character of the Mozilla Firefox. Hence, it will not appear either in the default theme or icons of the Firefox. It’s a pity Foxkeh is not made as th official mascot because it’s uniqueness truly represents Firefox in my opinion.

Foxkeh has become more popular since its appearance in last September. Even it’s now available as a Spread Firefox! affiliate banner.

If you are not using Firefox for web browsing, I would highly recommend you to start using Firefox as your default web browser.

Even if you are an existing Firefox user, there is something for you too. Check out this Firefox Add-ons called Together with Foxkeh. MT4 is believed to target business bloggers and further expand its market share. Currently Six Apart is already having some enterprise customers such as Intel Corp., Oracle Corp., Boeing, The Washington Post and New York University.

Movable Type 4 has been rearchitected to simplify companies’ management and deployment of corporate blogs and the creation of online communities, Six Apart officials said.

There are more than 50 new features in MT4 compared to the older version. Some of the new features include an installation and upgrade wizard, more efficient template management tools, built-in asset, photo and file management, and completely redesigned user interface.

One more exciting fact from this news is that Six Apart also expressed its intention to release an open source version of Movable Type in third quarter 2007 for companies and developers interested in extending the functionality of the platform.

Now I can see Wordpress could be having a stiff competition from this release of Movable Type 4. Anyway, healthy competition is always beneficial to the end users, isn’t it?
