Highest Number Of Visitor In May

Friday, May 27, 2005, recorded the highest number of visitor a day in this month : 668 visitors in a day !!

Though this is just a 2 months old blog, the rapidly increasing number of visitor is surely the driving force that motivates me to do better in the following months.

Perhaps my aim to reach another milestone, 1000 visitors a day, by August is not very far away.

   I think it is unique visit for a given period of time (default is 30min).

   According to Webalizer:-

   Visits

   Quoted:
   Whenever a request is made to the server from a given IP address (site), the amount of time since a previous request by the address is calculated (if any). If the time difference is greater than a pre-configured ‘visit timeout’ value (or has never made a request before), it is considered a ‘new visit’, and this total is incremented (both for the site, and the IP address). The default timeout value is 30 minutes (can be changed), so if a user visits your site at 1:00 in
   the afternoon, and then returns at 3:00, two visits would be registered.

   So, I think either that day my blog has a lot of return readers with same IP, or new comers with different IPs. :)
