SkyCar - A Car That Can Fly

This might not be the latest news as usual you see in this blog, but this is certainly not something we see everyday.

Have you thought of owning a car that can actually fly? Something like in Back To The Future movie? Well, this might come true in near future.

SkyCar

Moller International manufactured the first car that can actually fly which, they call it personal Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) vehicle. More precisely, the vehicle is named M400 Skycar.

The flying vehicle travels at the top speed of 350+ mph (mile per hour) and can achieve up to 28 miles per gallon which probably means environmentally friendly due to less gas consumed. The Skycar was in development since the 1960’s and has so far completed hovering flights successfully.

Well, M400 is still a prototype flying car, but hopefully will be available in the next three years. Guess how much is the price for this prototype car? It’s USD$3.5 Million !!
