Hi yer.
Thanks for the dedication, but I guess it should have been dedicated to those who are ignorant of Islam.
Anyways, the site is geared towards Shiah, the other branch of Islam. You see, there are two main branch of Islam, namely Shiah and Sunnah (Sunni, sometimes being used by the orientalist). There are other small branches, which is not supported by many.
Other than a handful of people around the world, the followers of Shiah are mainly concentrated in Iran, and small part of Iraq. Malaysia and the rest of the world are normally subscribed to Sunnah-wal-Jamaah.
The departure of understanding between these two groups started after the end of the 4th Caliph of Islam, i.e. Sayyidina Ali r.a. (Allah be please with him). THe followers of Ali r.a. (Allah be please with him) and his followers are the ones being known as Shiah these days. The rest of the Islam community sticks with the the next caliph and this group is the Sunnah group.
For a better understanding of Islam, try http://english.islamway.com/, http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/, http://islam-online.net/English/index.shtml or http://www.islamicity.com/.
Wikipaedia has this info on Islam, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam.
Thanks, man!
You did enlighten me on this. I have little knowledge on Islam before your post, now I understand more.
I think I better change the title to something else suitable.
Thanks for the clarification, anyway.
