7 th October 2005, I announced that I will be one of the bloggers taking part in Hair For Hospice by shaving my head to raise some fund. Here is an update about the event. In fact, I shaved my head on 1st November and I am now already bald for 10 days. :)
Peter Tan (the organizer) and 5 of us (Jason Tee, Sharizal, Devyne, Jason Lioh and I) took part in the campaign and we initially planned to shave on the same day on 6th November. However, Sharizal and I shaved our heads few days before that.

The pledging is still going on. Please feel free to donate, if you feel like contributing. Donation can be in any amount, and here is the donation instructions. You may visit the official donation page of this campaign too.
Again, thank you so much for supporting. May God bless you all. :)

Santa Cruz Network just launched the plugin for Google Talk few days ago followed by its success in launching the most popular video plug-in for Skype with more than 2.75 million downloads so far. For you information, Festoon works fine with both Google Talk and Skype now.
Festoon allows Google Talk users to talk to and see each other just like any other video conferencing feature in other IM, share applications, and engage in video experiences from 2 to 200 face-to-face communication. Come across Liz‘s post regarding a young kid was trying to molest her few days ago and I really think girls should take extra care of yourselves regardless daytime or late at night. Be extra cautious walking alone or even in a group, don’t ever say you walk in a pair and you are safe, think what if they are 5 in a group !
I am not here to give you lesson, so I better show you something interesting yet can protect the girls. Coincidentally, I come across an interesting website on the same day I read Liz’s blog entry. The website is about a small device called FemDefence that it’s believed to be able to protect girls against rape !
Quoted:
The project FemDefence is an attempt to contribute to the debate on men’s sexual violence against women in society, using the esthetics of design, and the semiotics of marketing.
