Mozilla Foundation, the maker of Firefox web browser, will become Mozilla Corporation in the announcement on last Wednesday, August 3, 2005. In other words, it will be a wholly-owned subsidiary that will continue the development, distribution and marketing of Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird.
Don’t worry, dude. Mozilla Foundation ensures you there will not be any big difference after this transformation.
Quoted:
The change will not affect the day-to-day development of Mozilla, with the current system of module owners, drivers, reviewers and super-reviewers staying in place. End-users are unlikely to notice any difference either, though the Mozilla Foundation and the Mozilla Corporation will eventually have separate websites. At the moment, only Firefox and Thunderbird will be developed under the auspices of the Mozilla Corporation; other projects, such as Camino and SeaMonkey, will continue to be overseen by the Mozilla Foundation.
Oh, I’m so bad >:) , keep on revealing how to bypass the Windows® Genuine Advantage validation process. Last Friday, I’ve shown you a little trick using JavaScript to crack the process, however, I heard from some of my net friends, this trick no longer workable.
Anyway, today here is another one. :D
Just follow the following steps from SinHack, you should be able to update your pirated somehow-can’t-get-validated Windows.
An Austrian hacker, who named “Second Part To Hell“, become the first virus writer by writing what are thought to be the first known viruses for Microsoft’s Windows Vista operating system (OS), according to Mikko Hypponen, chief research officer at F-Secure.
Quoted:
The viruses take advantage of a new command shell, codenamed Monad, that was included in the Windows Vista beta code. They were published on a virus-writing tutorial written for an underground hacker group calling itself the Ready Ranger Liberation Front, and take advantage of security vulnerabilities in the new command shell.
This command shell would be similar to what Linux OS is using, allows users to use powerful text-based commands, it is much like Windows’ predecessor, DOS too. The command shell is so powerful and allows users to make as huge and complex scripts as users do in Linux’s BASH (Bourne Again Shell).

First Virus For Windows Vista
As Firefox supporters, we always argue that Firefox is a better and more secure browser over Internet Explorer. More secure in the sense of less security flaws, I suppose. Somehow this argument is not right based on statistical data provided by a security advisory service, Secunia, at least for this year, 2005.
Quoted:
The report in the UK-based IT trade publication states: “There have now been more flaws in the Firefox browser this year than in Microsoft’s Internet Explorer.”
Secunia advisories affecting Mozilla Firefox 1.x on a month-by-month basis.
LoL …. Saw something really funny in Microsoft website. It amused me. :))
There is an article posted in the Help & Support Center of Microsoft website. It is posted long time ago and the last review was on March 14, 2002. The article is about “How to Remove Linux and Install Windows XP” !!
Quoted:
SUMMARY
This article explains how to remove the Linux operating system from your computer and install Windows XP. This article assumes that Linux is already installed on your computer’s hard disk, that Linux native and Linux swap partitions are in use (which are incompatible with Windows XP), and that there is no free space left on the hard disk.
After looking at it, some thoughts came into my mind. Who will actually uninstall a Linux then install a Microsoft Windows? Most of the Linux users will not turn back to Windows after switching, right? Besides, if one knows how to use Linux, it’s almost certain he/she knows how to uninstall it and install a less complicated OS, isn’t it? :D
Anyway, maybe the article might help someone who accidentally install Linux and wish to switch back to Windows.

After we have seen Opera came out with their mobile version of Opera 8, which can be run on Windows Mobile 2003 Smartphones. Mozilla Foundation has released a technology preview of a mobile device browser, codenamed Mimimo ( Sounds like Minime? :D ) that uses the same code base as the popular desktop Firefox browser. For your information desktop based Firefox has surpassed 75 million downloads to date.
Quoted:
The Minimo (Mini Mozilla) project is focused on code-size and runtime footprint reduction, and porting to small consumer devices. We hope to make Minimo the browser of choice on small devices, or machines with limited system resources
Minimo 0.007 is for mobile devices running Windows CE and offers many of the features in Firefox, such as tabbed browsing, support for plug-ins and has an interface written in eXtensible User Interface Language (XUL), Chris Hofmann, director of engineering at Mozilla, said. By the way, XUL supports cascading style sheets (CSS), which is helpful in adapting web pages to the small screens of cellular phones and to reduce loading time; JavaScript and resource description language, (RDF), for storing dynamic content.
