I’m sure many of us are thinking of upgrading our computer operating system to the latest Windows Vista. Apart from wondering will the current computer hardware be compatible to Windows Vista, probably we are facing the dilemma of choosing which version of Windows Vista.

Basically, there are 5 versions of Windows Vista to choose from, they are Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, Enterprise and Ultimate.

Windows Vista Comparison

This is the link to a comprehensive comparison chart of all 5 versions of Windows Vista. Hope it helps you to make your upgrading decision.

I have Home Vista Premium (licensed of course!) and not very shiok with it. It kept asking, ‘Are you sure’ all the time I want to add something. Sheeeeshh..And things get wonky when I open too many applications.

hi there Bryan? From Ahpek’s blog. Sadly about this post, i checked my laptop using the vista advisor, is only up to the business version. So no needlah. Unless you got 2G and above RAM, then one probably consider it. ;)

I have Home Vista Basic (just to give it run) and I am not to happy with it. Not only do I get a ‘Are you sure ‘ problem as well, now I even have to buy new software for my Printer and Scanner. Oh, and my cam as well. Yes, I have the ‘things get wonky when I open too many applications’ also Lilian. Don’t feal bad. ;-)
