We have seen some factory tours of computer device manufacturers before like, Gigabyte Factory Tour I posted back in April. I just come across Google Factory Tour a few hours ago, so thought of sharing with you all.
Google released on their press center about the factory tour which took place on May 19, 2005. There is a webcast clip of the tour, but I need to warn you first, it is a VERY long clip !! I spent not less than 20 minutes watching it, and after the 20 minutes Marissa Mayer (The 2nd presenter of total 13) is still continuing her speech. Anyway, no doubt it is very informative for anyone interested in knowing Google more. The clip covers how and why Google services are created.
Some interesting information is covered, such as how PageRank works, AdWords, AdSense, so on and so forth. (You know what, site like CNN is indexed every 10 minutes. :-o )
The following is the agenda of the factory tour.
