I’ve summarized the 10 aspects about Samsung Galaxy S which I think it needs to be highlighted.
1. It has a huge 4-inch touch screen.
The screen size is exactly the size of a normal credit card!
2. The colour of the AMOLED screen is so rich and vibrant.
This picture is not from a LCD screen, it’s directly shot from Samsung Galaxy S.
3. It’s so light it weights only 118g.
118g with battery!
4. It supports TV-Out through the standard 3.5mm phone jack.
5. It has Swype pre-installed.
“Swype provides a faster and easier way to input text on any screen. With one continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keyboard, the patented technology enables users to input words faster and easier than other data input methods—at over 40 words per minute. The application is designed to work across a variety of devices such as phones, tablets, game consoles, kiosks, televisions, virtual screens and more. ”
6. The touch screen is capacitive and supports multi-touch.
Just like Nokie N8, iPhone and other Android phones. :)
7. It has no flash light.
Anyway, I think it shoots decent indoor picture without flash. Click the picture above for the original size.
8. It has a plastic back cover.
I guess this contributes to its light weight.
9. It runs on Android 2.1 (Eclair) OS.
It will be perfect if it’s running the latest Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS.
10. The antenna is at the bottom of the phone.
Well, the antenna is located below the battery instead of the usual location (except iPhone 4) at the top of the phone. I’ll do a review of the reception soon. :)

The antenna is suppose to be at the bottom … at least required by law now in the US.
Cancer-related… move it away from the brain.
