Intel-based Macintosh PCs Due 06/06/06

Despite of the “evil” number 666, Apple is likely to launch its first Intel-based PC on 6th June, 2006. The launch will be held in Taiwan. This fascinating news was leaked by Taiwan PC distributors.

Quoted:
Intel processors will be initially adopted in Apple Computerâ€™s entry-level Macintosh PC lineup, including the Mac Mini, iBook, and iMac series, with a launch in Taiwan slated for June 6 2006, according to sources at Taiwan PC distributors.

However, Apple Taiwan refused to comment on the speculation and will only disclose the launching schedule according to the companyâ€™s official statement.

Hopefully, if the speculation is true we will see Intel-based Macintosh PC in June next year and full Macintosh product range will be converted to using Intel processors by the end of 2007.

Intel for next yr huh? what was it powered initially??

Anyway, you have a great blog here. In my opinion, cleaner and better than liewcf. Just one suggestion, probably you could put a 336×280 ad unit just after the Related Post. That could boost your clicks I suppose.

I must agree with the post on top…coz not that much ads…..

anyway I have nothing against 666, but Apple usually does not let things leak out so easily

Hey Alex,

I went to your blog few weeks ago and like the design very much. Everything is so well clustered.

Thanks for the compliment and suggestion too. I will be re-designing my blog slightly very soon, maybe will reduce some of # of ads. IMHO, a blog is a place for people to read, bad content and lots of ads will only spoil the purpose of a blog.

p/s: Forgot to answer alex for his question, Apple is still using processors provided by IBM at the moment.
