Ok guys,
I’ve been using the default Kubrick theme (with some modifications :D ) since day 1. So, I think it’s time for me to change a new blog layout.
I chosen this theme because of a few reasons:-
- It is neat and nice.
- It has dymanic width.
Everyone might have different screen resolutions, so a dynamic one suits all. - I like it. :)
Don’t worry, I’ll stick with this theme as long as I can.
Enjoy, everyone.

I’d advice keeping the navigation to 1 area then having a block on the to right and having another on the lower left. Cheers.
Hi Danny,
Is it like what you have in your blog?
I’m not too clear about your desciption, do you have a sample so that I can have a look of it.
By the way, I like the head image in your blog. :)
Cheers !
hmm.. beware the title(related posts) above adsense ads, Google has restriction on how you tag their ads.
Thanks for informing, liew. :)
Ok, I’ll move it else where.
Thanks. :) But a revamp will be on the way soon after I’m done with my boring BAM project. LoL!
Well, basically instead of how you got it now. You could try this:
Blog | Categories | Archives | Links | About SapiensBryan | Site Map | Admin
Place these links on the bottom line of your banner then raise the content layout so that it touches the banner. :)
If possible, try using CSS tab designs for the navigation later. Make them White in Background and use Pink as your link colors. The hover I’ll let you decide on what would look nice. ;)
Oh yeah, I like the idea of the sitemap since you’ve got lots of categories/sub-categories. However, remove the ads since the primary function of Sitemap are to let visitors find link fast. Currently, the ads clutter that purpose.
Cheers.
Right !! Anyway, I’m tracking the ads now, I’ll see how it turns out. If the result is not satisfying, I’ll take it out. :)
As for the CSS tab, I’m still learning. :)
By the way, you have any nice source/tutorial?
I found that revamping a website is fun, but to keep the compatibility across browsers is the pain in the a**. :p LoL
Thanks for your priceless opinions.
There are a ton of CSS tutorials out there. :) Other than learning the tutorials, you’d also need to know about some hacks since IE/Safari might act weird at times.
You could start from http://www.alistapart.com and later just Google for other CSS queires you might need. :)
Cheers.
Thank a lot, dude. :)
I would strongly recommend Liewfc theme. It is Awesome. I used it on my website. Check it out at http://www.banklocater.com
Hi BankLocater,
You have a nice blog. :)
This is my 3rd blog layout.
My blog evolved from 2 columns to 3 columns then back to 2 columns, as you can see from the link.
I did so simply because my blog still quite new, I do not have much content yet, so there will be some places left empty in 3 columns. :) That’s why I switched back to 2 columns.
BTW, Liew’s theme is quite a good one. Thanks for sharing.
