Nokia Revealed N76, N93i and N800

Nokia have just revealed 3 new high end N-Series mobile phones at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2007, which is held from 8-11 January, in Las Vegas.

Nokia N76 is a 3G multimedia clamshell smartphone. It has been perceived to be the answer from Nokia to Motorola RAZR series as it has a thickness of only 14mm when folded!

Just like the Motorola RAZR models, Nokia N76 also features a flat metal keypad too. In term of multimedia features, Nokia N76 is integrated with a 2-megapixel camera, a MP3 player, a FM radio and a 2.4-inch colour screen. An advatage N76 has is that it comes with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack to enable you to use your own headphones to listen to music. The hot swappable microSD slot allows you to expand the memory up to 2GB without turning off the mobile phone.

This is the upgraded version of Nokia N93. It is smaller (58mm x 108mm x 25mm) and lighter (163g) as compared to its predecessor.

The 3.2 megapixel Carl Zeiss lens and twisty screen offers you a different photo/video shooting experience, not to mention it has 3x optical zoom!

On top of its powerful feature of taking photo and videos, it’s designed to work on Wireless LAN, 3G (WCDMA), EDGE and GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) networks too. Nokia N93i provides mobile broadband internet access for browsing, uploading content, and sending and receiving emails, allowing you to stay connected on the move.

Nokia N800 is the latest Nokia Internet tablet and a smaller version (144mm x 75mm x 18mm) of its predecessor, Nokia 770. Like Nokia 770, the Nokia N800 is based on Nokia’s desktop Linux based Operating System too.

Nokia N800 doesn’t have a slot for SIM card but it is designed to work as an Internet calling device, enabling you to make VoIP calls via a Wi-Fi hotspot, such as Internet calling, instant messaging and emailing. Furthermore, Nokia also announced a development cooperation with Skype on Internet Telephony that will allow Skype users to make Internet calls from their Nokia N800. How nice is that huh!

There are 2 expandable memory slots which support up to 4GB of memory in total!
