Please note that, i put this article in Funny Link category. This is because i think it is funny instead of taking it seriously. :D
According to the website, let’s jump at the same time in one particular scheduled date, so that the orbit of Earth is move further from the Sun. By doing so, it is believed that would likely to stop global warming, extend daytime hours and create more homogenous climate. I wonder, if all Earth citizens from different locations and regions jump at the same time, the impact will eventually go to the core of the Earth instead of to shift the orbit. So, how are we going to help shifting the orbit by just jumping? :-?
I wonder also, after shifting the orbit, will the Earth clash with the moon?
They need 600,000,000 jumpers, and so far 106,212,706 registered. If you are interested in participating, just register by sending them your email address through their website. By the way, i have not registered yet, maybe i’ll just jump at the same time unofficially in my room.
So glad to hear that Dell remains open to AMD.
In what amounts to one of the PC industry’s longest-running sagas of on-again, off-again courtship, Dell Chief Executive Kevin Rollins once again revived speculation that Dell could end its long-standing refusal to use Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Inc. chips.
However, Mr. Rollin also mentioned Dell would only turn to AMD if customers demanded it start using AMD chips and not just Intel’s.
Anyway, hope we can see more new Dell PCs utilizing AMD processors soon.

The long await AMD dual core processor, named Opteron, is finally going to be released on April 21, 2005. This launching date is months ahead of their original summer launch schedule.
The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based chipmaker also is expected to announce its dual-core chips for personal computers will go on sale in June.
In an attempt to encourage rapid adoption, AMD will sell some of the new chips at the same prices as the corresponding single-core models they’ll replace, a source familiar with the products said. So, hopefully we can still enjoy low price dual core processors from AMD. Kodus to AMD !!
For more information, please read the sourse.
So, will AMD win the Dual-Core race? You judge. :)
Broadband service outage won’t stop me from writing something good here. :D
Ever thought of using GMail as a virtual drive for your file storage since Google is now providing such a huge mailbox size?
The following is an option to do so,
GMail Drive is a Shell Namespace Extension that creates a virtual filesystem around your Google GMail account, allowing you to use GMail as a storage medium. GMail Drive creates a virtual filesystem on top of your Google GMail account and enables you to save and retrieve files stored on your GMail account directly from inside Windows Explorer. GMail Drive literally adds a new drive to your computer under the My Computer folder, where you can create new folders, copy and drag’n’drop files to.
Enjoy this virtual drive. :)
It is reported the Asia Pacific Cable Network-2 (APCN-2) is suffering cable failure since April 7, 2005. This cable failure was happened in East Asia.
Source from The Star newspaper
Source from TMNet Streamyx
Until the moment I write this Site News, the service is still interrupted. However, only Asia readers from certain countries like Malaysia, Singapore, etc will have difficulties accessing my blog because the server of this website is residing in the US. Readers from outside Asia regions will have no problem at all browsing it. :)
One thing that makes me wonder is, from MSC (Multimedia Super Corridoor) website, MSC claimed
Malaysia is connected to the major submarine cable systems such as SMW3, APCN, APCN2, FLAG, SAFE and several smaller regional systems. These cable systems land in 4 different locations throughout Malaysia.
by MSC Malaysia
Now only one submarine cable (APCN2) is hit by outages, has made Malaysia’s broadband crawling since April 7, 2005.
Due to this sad incident, i’m having difficulties accessing to major websites residing outside Malaysia, hence, paralyzed me from writing any article here. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. :) I’ll think of other solutions if the problem is not solved by today or tomorrow.
