More or less looks the same as Vista except a few tweaks here and there.
Still got a long time to wait for the final version of it.
Of course, like any Microsoft products, initial batch must have some problems before it’s finally stabilised.

The sneak peak always looks as impressive as ever, I think the system will speak for itself honestly when we are using it. Hope it doesn’t disappoint us again. :)

I just hope I can actually use my software, I bought vista already and just had to roll back to XP. Oh well atleast this made me laugh :)

Not appealing. I get this “same old same old” feeling. I’ll stick to my Mac.

What do you mean? It’s awesome from what I hear. Copies Mac, then makes it better. I think Microsoft has this small window of opportunity left before Mac pulls ahead to fast.

I’m gonna download the beta and run it. We’ll see how it goes.

My only issues with Vista (now that I splurged and upgraded the PCs I own to their max CPU, video, and memory) stem from better memory usage, better compatibility with older programs, and more compatibility with existing hardware (2006 parts and on, that is). There are hardware components sold today that still have compatibility issues with Vista (even with SP1) and one literally has to rig it up (by using code shared by tech forums) manually in order for them to work properly. For the average Vista user, this is a serious issue. If 7 promises to address these specific issues (and looks like so far it is based on the screen shots provided here), then there might be a future without XP…who knows?
