Segatoys iFish

Friday 24 March 2006 @ 5:48 pm

I blogged about iDog almost 1 year ago, now you see another “i” pet in the market. Segatoys introduced the iFish after seeing the success of the iDog.

iFish

Almost identical to iDog in term of features, you can play music or sounds through iFish’s built-in speaker as well. It flashes some light while flopping around. By the way, please take note that you can’t put it into water though it’s a fish.

Can’t afford Sony Aibo? Get yourself an iDog or iFish. :)

Google Finance – Personal Online Finance Website

Wednesday 22 March 2006 @ 1:14 pm

I stopped blogging for 1 week or so but Google just can’t stop releasing new services. Here is another great one.

Google FinanceGoogle launched its latest service yesterday called Google Finance. It’s an online financial news portal that provides corporate news, information and graphs, and blog entries regarding the specific stock you are looking for. I believe this new Google service is going into direct competition withYahoo Finance, which I patrol quite frequently for stock information. The reason behind launching this cool service is the increase in Internet usage by investors in searching for stock information.

My First Ever WordPress Plugin – Submit It Plugin

Tuesday 7 March 2006 @ 12:09 pm

Hi everyone,

I’m so glad I finished my first ever WordPress plugin today. I named it Submit It.

Submit It WordPress Plugin

Submit It is just a simple plugin as shown in the picture. You can try it out at the end the written artile in any post. The plugin will insert some pieces of codes in every single page to show the links. Basically, the plugin allows you or your readers to submit a particular post of yours and bookmark it at any of the popular blog services as linked in the plugin.

I saw these links in quite a lot of blogs but have not seen any plugin for it. So, I created myself after one of my blog buddies, n305er sent me some of the basic codes. Submit It plugin was created with “easy to use” goal in mind. You just need to put only 1 line of code into the PHP file and start using the plugin.

I will write a detail tutorial of installing this plugin later in a separate page so that everyone can freely download and install it into your WordPress blog.

By the way, I’m not a PHP programmer expert, so if you find any bug or problem using the plugin, please let me know. Fell free to tell me your opinion about this simple plugin as well, like do you find it useful?
Thanks.
