New Blog Design

I have just changed the blog layout into 3 columns from the default 2 columns. I felt this is the time to expand in order to cater for the seemingly rapid growth of my blog. :D

Some changes in the newly designed layout are as follows:-

1. One more column on the left.
2. New header picture, which is more suitable to the title of the blog.
3. New background, some say the old background was dull. So… :)
4. New navigation bar design.

I did not change the space of the content in the middle, simply because the content is the soul of this blog. I can sacrifice the space on both sidebars, but not the content area. Of course there was a compromise on the gaps in between all columns, when I took out those wasted spaces and formed the 3rd column on the left. This attempt of redesigning will avoid the situation when the old sidebar becomes too long if I decided to add in more contents in the sidebar sooner or later.

By the way, I will be glad to make it a template if anyone of you request for it. Probably, I will have free time to do it end of this month, after my semester exam. I need some time to clean up my codes, as this is just a beta version of my new design. :)

In the future, I will put in some videos for viewing online and downloading too. Stay tuned !!

I’m not sure if it’s just me but I’m feeling that all content is being cluttered at the top. From left to right I’m being overwhelmed with content without much white space for my eyes to rest. :)

HmMMm… Ya, maybe you are right, it seems to be too much content at the top. Okay, I’ll do something on it, and hope to suit everyone’s taste.

By the way, I admire your web designing skills.

HmMM… I’ve just done modification on the placement of all menus and edited the css. I took out the Author part on the right too. I’ll add more details about the author into the About SapiensBryan page soon.

I think it is not as “congested” as the first attempt.

Hope it looks better now. :)
