Good news (not sure is it good new :p ) to TMNet Streamyx users,
TMNet announced on Friday, May 27, 2005, that the operation hours of its Customer Interaction Centre (CIC) will be extended to 24 hours, 7 days a week to handle increasing customer calls.
The implementation of the extended operation hours of TM Net’s call center will be begin on May 30th 2005. The contact number for the tmnet streamyx Customer Interaction Centre remains unchanged at 1-300-88-9515 and operational 24/7/365, Mondays to Sundays.
One thing annoying me is :
Why can’t TMNet provide a Toll-Free number for us to dial?
TMNet is owned by Malaysia’s largest telco, TM, formerly named Telekom and yet they can’t provide a toll free number for customer support, like what Dell, DHL etc are offering. What a shame !! I just can’t magine how frustrating it will be when customer support can’t solve your problem and still you are paying for it.

You are right! Toll free numbers should be a must for companies dealing with a high load of customer issues as they are now.
