If you noticed, some blogs started to use tags as category to organize posts. Too bad I still do not have time to convert all my posts according to tags. Anyhow, soon I will convert most if not all of the posts according to tags that compliant with Technorati for the sake of easy searching.

Tag is useful not only in blogging. Now we can search Musics, Bands, Movies, Books, and Web Sites through Tagomatic.

Tagomatic is a free community-based service that allows users to tag similar entities of entertainment media. Fans of music, movies, books, and web sites can tag their favorite items with something similar to them, hence helps in searching through the whole Internet. For music lovers, this means finding new bands that are similar to bands they already listen to. Movie and book lovers can find recommendations on Tagomatic as well. The web site search feature will be something similar to Technorati.

Furthermore, Tagomatic recently introduced a new software tool for music lovers called Tagosaurus, which allows Internet users to automatically search their MP3 collections to find similar, recommended, bands stored in the Tagomatic recommendations database. I have just checked and found that the current database is still small, perhaps more artists and bands will be added over time.
