When Will Malaysian Make History?

Wednesday 5 November 2008 @ 1:25 pm

Well, Barack Obama was elected US’s first black president on Tuesday night. Congratulation!

Obama

Don’t forget this 44th US president is a son of a black father from Kenya, who I think surely was an immigrant to the US back then. Now the US people have overcame racial barriers in electing their president, I’m wondering when will this happen to Malaysia too.

Will Malaysian make the same history one day? I hope so…

The answer is NO and NEVER. Malaysia will never have this kind of changes…not with the present mind set of the people. Don’t get me wrong, I myself do love to see the change but sometime we have to be very mind conscience that with the present elected system and law…the chances are slim or can said will never come……

Well, I do hope Malaysians are as open minded as US people. Anyway, I hope Obama can save US and us from economic crisis.

We can always hope. Remember it took USA roughly 220 years to get their first Black President.

Jeffrey : What we need is the spirit of change! With that in mind, anything can happen. :)

Andy : Let’s put more hope on it and make it happen!

Horizon : The US People have come a long way in achieving this and I believe we can start ours now. Let’s change for a better tomorrow.

KuanHoong : You got a point there, but we can learn from their experience and shorten the time when we make our history, right? :)

Anyway guys, thanks for dropping your comments.
