After such a long wait, Apple third-generation iPhone 3G will be officially sold in Singapore on 22 August, 2008! Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) announced this much awaited news on Tuesday.
Both the 8GB and 16GB versions of iPhone will be available. Similar to how iPhone was first introduced in Hong Kong, SingTel will accept online reservation until Aug 17. iPhone will then hot the shelve of all SingTel stores throughout Singapore on 22 August. No price tag is set for the phone yet though.
Anyway, cheers Singaporean!
Well, I know some shops in Malaysia have already been selling unlocked iPhone since early this year but the question now is when are we going to see iPhone officially launched here in Malaysia?
Entering the second day after Firefox 3.0 was released, mixed feedback was heard. Personally, I am satisfied with Firefox 3.0, except the Smart Location Bar, or so called Awesome Bar. I don’t like the autocomplete nature of this Smart Location Bar, as it lists out the possible bookmarked site or previously visited sites while I’m typing in the address. I know the purpose is to save my time and hassle to type the whole address but it’s annoying me more than helping because I need to choose from some irrelevant results listed. I guess some Firefox users who used Firefox 2.0 before the upgrade will feel the same too.
If you are thinking of disabling this Smart Location Bar from automatically listing, do some tweaking to Firefox 3 then.

I’ve just upgrade my Opera web browser. What about you? In fact, Opera 9.5 was released on June 12, 2008, a few days before the release of Firefox 3.
Within the first 5 days of this new version available, Opera 9.5 has received more than 4.7 million downloads. Pretty impressive I would say, but it’s just about half of the download total Firefox 3 received in 1 single day! The total download for Firefox is now surpassing 11 millions downloads worldwide.
Firefox is always my preferred web browser to Internet Explorer (IE) and I’ve been using Firefox for more than 4 years already. Today Mozilla, the developer of Firefox, has released the long awaiting Firefox 3.0!
without a doubt, I immediately grabbed a fresh copy of Firefox 3.0, installed it, and is already using it now. I’m so glad Firefox has reached another milestone by releasing this latest version with more than 15,000 application bugs fixed, enhanced security, faster browsing speed and better browsing experience. More new features are :-
- Password Manager
- One-Click Bookmarking
- Instant Web Site ID
- Full Zoom
- Smart Location Bar
It’s been so long since I last updated my AdsMinded WordPress Theme. My Apologies.

This morning, I was browsing through some sales of computer peripherals at Amazon and was a little shock to see such huge capacity USB flash drive is on sale!
Corsair Flash Voyager is the latest product manufactured by Corsair and it’s the largest capacity USB 2.0 flash drive to date with a massive 32GB of storage. While Moore’s law is suggesting memory capacity would double its size approximately every 2 years, I think this 32GB flash drive is a bit beyond the projection, don’t you think so?
Anyway, obviously this USB flash drive is not a prototype but an end product selling on the shelves in many online computer stores right now, below are some sales I found :-
Corsair is well known of its high quality and performance computer main memory (RAM), therefore they are confident with Corsair Flash Voyager by offering a 10 years limited warranty. Even though the durable rubber casing doesn’t make it one stylish flash drive, I suppose the capacity, reliability and its warranty are enough win our hearts.
Anyway, with such a huge capacity, you can practically store the entire Windows Vista operating system, all application programs, and a couples of DVD into it! Moving huge files from one PC to another PC outside a network and harddisk backup would never been easier using it too.
